01. About Us

Our team is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of public servants, helping you understand your pension or other supplemental retirement plans and making the transition into retirement as seamless as possible.

02. Our Philosophy

Due to the nature of the workplace environment, many of our clients have been given poor, self-serving, and often conflicting advice from financial salespeople over their many years of tenure. It's our job to help you understand all of your choices, whether you choose to work with us or not.

03. Our Process

We believe that the cornerstone of a happy retirement is having enough guaranteed income to meet your needs. We work with you to determine what your income needs to be and help you create customized goals once those needs are met.

Our Services

Retirement Planning

Our primary goal is to help you understand the pension or defined contribution plan that is provided to you by your employer and we are educated on hundreds of different pension systems around the country. Our goal is to leave no stone unturned as you approach retirement and after and that conversation has to start with the simple question, "What will my guaranteed income be in retirement?" We believe the best time to start planning is yesterday, so we often work with clients in the few years leading up to retirement on planning their exit strategy.

Survivorship

One of the biggest concerns for many of our clients is making sure their loved ones are protected when they pass away. Whether that means choosing a survivorship option on your pension or understanding life insurance, we're here to help.

Supplemental Plans

403b, 401k, 401a, IRA...most of our clients are so overwhelmed when they hear these codes that they find it a bit paralyzing. We often hear, "I have something, but I don't even know what it is." and just as frequently, "I have 3-5 different plans, can they all be combined?" While your situation is unique, it's our job to give you the best advice for your particular situation, and we like to start by demystifying any confusion you may have regarding supplemental plans.
